I JUST FOUND OUT, THAT OLIE PASSED, I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT. I WAS JUST TELLING MY FRIENDS HOW WE ALL MET HIM IN THE NIGHT CLUB NUCLEUS NUANCE ON MELROSE YEARS AGO. HE WAS IN THE AUDIENCE, WHEN HERBIE K WAS PERFORMING. THE CROWD, INCLUDING ALL OF US CONVINCED HIM TO GET UP AND SING. HE DID! WE WERE AWED, HE WAS INCREDIBLE! WE ALL LOVED HIS VOICE, HE WAS SO GOOD, AND SO HANDSOME TOO. I AM SO SAD, THAT HES GONE. THANK GOD, I HAVE HIS MUSIC! RIP!

Ali Woodson was a tremendous talent. Nobody could make a song their own like he could. I love his music and will miss him immensely. I've written a tribute to him at my website

I thank the LORD for allowing me to live at a time when I could enjoy the wonderful melodic voice He gifted you with. I know you're singing with the angels and they're sounding so much better because of you. May GOD bless your family and the Holy Spirit comfort you in this most unhappy time.

"Cat Daddy" was the name that you gave me to call you whenever I spoke with you or saw you in person. You wouldn't even respond if I called you anything else. It took me a while to come out here, but I here now. May God watch over your loving family and we all know that Our Father in Heaven does not may any mistakes."Cat Daddy" I truly miss you with all my heart.I thank God and your family for allowing us to share and be a part of your life as a friend, a singer, and most of all just being "Ali"! Rest In Peace "Cat Daddy". We'll see you again one day. That Heavenly Choir is on fire now!!! Bless God! ~Thank You Jesus for Ali Ollie Woodson~

One of the nicest gentlemen. Hung out with him after a show in Merrillville, Indiana. Even though he was a star, he made you feel as if he knew you. Just a classy, down to earth guy. God rest his soul. May God bless and comfort his family.

Ali was an awsome talent and beautiful human being. We were blessed to have such a talent in our time. I plan to do a tribute to him and link to some of the footage that is already up on youtube to keep his memory alive and pay honor to such a talented man. He is less than a few months younger than me. We wonder why did he have to leave? God called his Angels to come home and what a special Angel he was, a very close friend of mine use to play with the Manhattens and knew Ali and speeks of him in praise. We shall miss him and seeing him perform live for us. I pray for his precious family and close friends whose lives have forever changed because of this tragic loss. God bless you all.

I remember growing up watching remakes of The Movies "The Temptations", but my parents always talked about how legendary the "real deal" was, is and will always be, because they were there to witness their success... What this means to me being a younger Artist [Vocalist], is that it... See More took him to pave the way for us new comers, and his legacy LIVEs on through his music, his branding on the Industry. I will always feel that he nor the rest of the Temptations are neither silenced nor ceased.
To the family: I know that he was more than a legendary Singer/ICON, he was a Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle etc., and as it may seem hard in the ;present, only time will heal the future of your hearts and pain. I pray that God will heal your loss, and that time mends the pain with good memories, and the talent he left behind, to symbolize and strengthen all that love him...
God Bless you all, and may you find peace in this journey.
Sincere Regards,
Zai-Naffir

My depth in knowledge of the brother is limited to how I remember him being a Temptation. I, later, saw him singing gospel on television. What I CAn say is that with him, the Temptations found their voice, again. In my opinion, he was the best since David Ruffin. What a Temptation he was. RIP, brother.
